The founder of a new online magazine/blog based in the UK called 2d code contacted me recently to let me know about the site. It’s full of news and information regarding QR codes and 2d codes and is a must read for anyone interested in the subject. The site also encourages people to submit their own 2d code related news so keep that in mind if you come across anything of interest locally or are personally involved in a 2d code project.
On a side note, I came across an interesting article on the site announcing a 2d bar code reader for the iPhone, which is something I as a happy iPhone owner am very pleased about because I’ve been looking for this app for quite a while now.

1 eqd Feb 13th, 2008 at 3:10 pmI’m a bit confused – this is an addressable issue for software implementation, but what doesn’t seem to work for the iPhone is the fact that the optics don’t allow for the capturing of any regularly sized barcode (like one you might find on a product for sale at any store). Even the video (now missing) at that iMatrix site has them taking a photo of a ludicrously over sized matrix on an lcd.
Has there been some solution found?
